Orange Blossom Festival

The People's Gallery helped put on the Chalk Art festival at Orange Blossom Festival 2005 and look forward to lending a hand again (if they'll put up with us)

We couldn't have done it with out the help of some great volunteers.

Here are a couple of pictures

Our “Minions” Probably too small to see in this pic, but they are: Frea, Robbie Whit, Matt Corfee, Carrie DaVersa, Sam “Donk”, Mike Nguyen, Kenton O'Donnell (aka Marian's husband) and not pictured, Ace Rainey.

In the front row, is the gang of four, the artists that worked on our 30x12 ft. chalk mural. Ken Stansbury (wearing hat), Semic, Fred Stuart and Greg Adamson.

Greg is well known for his street paintings around Southern California and when he's not making great art, he's the regional vice president of Union Bank. I managed to rope him into being our Treasurer. I think I picked good!

All Hallows Eve

This fall we did a street painting festival as part of “Fanning the Creative Flame” – a ten day arts and culture festival. I have to say this one went a bit rough. I'm not so sure University Ave. is the best location for a chalk festival! None the less, we had many great artists, several were newcomers, that created some fantastic art. Here are a few pics. Thanks to all.
